From November 10 to 15,, the former President of the national science foundation (NSF), the rehired professor of Purdue University Arden Bement, the dean of technical college of Purdue University Ragu Athinarayanan visited the Department of Industrial Engineering. Both sides had an extensive and in-depth communication on the establishment of a joint science and technology innovation center and the execution of various educational cooperation projects, reaching a series of consensus in the end.
