The Outstanding College Students IE Summer Camp was organized by IE Department at Room 512, Shunde Building during August 27 and 29, with the attendance of 24 third-year undergraduates from 15 universities like Xi'an Jiaotong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Shandong University and Jilin University. The Summer Camp was aimed to promote the exchange between undergraduates of the nation’s colleges and universities, so that they can get a better understanding of IE Department of Tsinghua, and stand a good chance of pursuing their further postgraduate study here. 

After the opening ceremony, three professors of the department made excellent academic lectures and communicated with the participants. During the following two days, all the students actively read and discuss, and then completed and displayed their achievements. They all expressed that they were of great benefit from the new form of the Camp, and it was a good test to their knowledge and innovation capacity they learnt at ordinary times.
